Thanks Lucien, much appreciated. The 2007 Grenache is sold out (you may recall I only made 468 bottles), but I have three barrels of 2009 that I will be bottling in the next few months. The style of the wine will be quite different as the source of grapes has changed (2007 Stellenbosch, 2009 Wellington). In 2010 I got some Grenache grapes from Durbanville and the wine is currently undergoing malolactic fermentation. As Pliny said so many years ago: “”ex africa semper aliquid novi.”
